Suntrol Supports Akron Children's Hospital's Super Heroes Event, June 5

This year’s Akron Children’s Hospital (ACH) Super Heroes event is scheduled for June 5, and Suntrol has returned for the fourth consecutive year to support this annual event by providing 150 gift bags to hospitalized children.

“We have a huge heart for children, and this is an annual passion project for us,” said John Hansen, Suntrol owner and founder. “Giving to children in need, especially those that are ill, is something we’ve done since we founded Suntrol and it means a lot to us.”

Suntrol has collaborated with American National Skyline (ANS) of Cleveland as part of a network of area businesses to support the event. ANS characters will repel down the building exterior and wash windows to the amazement of the children inside, while Suntrol staff visit the children to distribute gift bags with other Super Heroes.

This year Super Girl, Bat Girl, Wonder Woman, Cat Woman and Princess Leia will be joined by Spiderman, Batman, Captain America, Thor, Wolverine, Ironman and Superman to visit children, including those in the pediatric intensive care unit, the burn unit and the emergency department.

Event supporters also include Professional Roofing Services (Strongsville), Trivs Restaurant (Strongsville), Mulligans Bar & Grille (Strongsville), The Local Bar (Strongsville), Wiant Jewelers (Brunswick,) Tupperware (the Clift Family), O’Charley’s Restaurant (Cuyahoga Falls), Jet’s Pizza (Cuyahoga Falls), Shintos Japanese Steakhouse (Strongsville), the Sambor family, and the Kazee family.
