Solar Tint Acquires Suntrol

Solar Tint today announced its acquisition of Suntrol of Cleveland. Solar Tint now has four recognized brands with seven locations serving Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Suntrol will continue to operate from its Cleveland headquarters.

“We welcome Suntrol into the Solar Tint family of brands, and we are excited for the future,” said Jason Young, President of Solar Tint. “I was fortunate to have John Hansen as a mentor when I joined the family business more than 20 years ago, and look forward to expanding on what he and his team have built over decades.”

Video of Health Education Campus Gives Inside Look

Suntrol’s new video of the Sheila and Eric Samson Pavilion, part of the Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic Health Education Campus, provides an inside look at the impressive scope of the this architectural marvel, and the seemingly endless walls of glass within. Selected as the elite provider of more than 15,000 square feet of glass enhancing film for privacy, architectural design and safety banding for the 477,000 square foot structure, Suntrol is no stranger to large scale custom architectural projects.

Designed by architect Lord Norman Foster of Foster + Partners, the Samson Pavilion is home to the medical, dental, nursing, and physician-assistant students.

Suntrol’s work can be found across the Cleveland skyline from Cleveland Clinic and University Hospital campuses, to the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Hopkins Airport, the Cleveland Public Library, the Cleveland Zoo, major sports stadiums and arenas, casinos, and other large commercial and retail spaces to name a few.
