April 5-7, 2019, Hudson High School’s theatrical production of Phantom of the Opera showcased a “magic mirror” for the Angel of Music scene created with the help of Suntrol’s RNO7 “one-way mirror” window film.
The film was used to recreate the stunning scene during which Christine is entranced by the Phantom as she gazes into her dressing room mirror and suddenly sees the Phantom staring back as he casts his spell.

Using reclaimed glass from an intact shower door, the “mirror” is created using a unique window film that is highly reflective. The opposite side is “dark smoke”, but when well lit from behind, the shadowy figure of the Phantom emerges to the delight and amazement of the audience.
“It’s been so much fun for our team to collaborate with Hudson High School to contribute to such an impressive theatrical production,” said Kathie Hansen of Suntrol. “We love opportunities to support schools and students.”
